Maidenbower Infant School and Nursery is a three-form entry Infant school for 4–7 year olds with a private nursery that has 32 places per session for children from the age of three. We are lucky to have extensive grounds that provide a stimulating and exciting learning space outside that complements our indoor learning. At Maidenbower Infant School, we aim to create an inclusive, caring and challenging learning environment where all children thrive.

What we do:

We recognise the importance of providing children with a strong start to their schooling years so that they can develop a lifelong love of learning. Our core belief is that “what happens early, matters for a lifetime”.
We aim to ensure successful learning for each child in all areas of the curriculum in a peaceful, caring atmosphere which encourages all-round growth and development.
We aim to develop children’s curious young minds and inspire them to learn about the world around them.
We encourage kindness, cooperation, mutual respect and the development of attitudes and values towards one another and the wider world.
We have a high regard for the personal and social education of each child and provide opportunities for the development of self-esteem and independence.
