Downsbrook Primary School is a happy and nurturing school where every child and their future matters. We have excellent teachers who deliver a vibrant and exciting curriculum using our outstanding environment and facilities.

What we do:

We provide an exciting, stimulating and creative curriculum for all of our pupils.
We deliver quality first teaching where pupil's needs are planned for, and this, coupled with high expectations enables our pupils to be successful.
All pupil's progress is tracked and monitored to ensure progression.
We promote positive behaviour and we expect all pupils to be polite, respectful, honest and tolerant of others. This enables the school to run smoothly as well as promoting good citizenship for life.
Where concerns have been identified, a programme of targeted support and classroom strategies are put in place to address those needs to enable pupils to access the curriculum.
