Making Sense of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)

What is the event?

In this workshop, delivered by Lizzie Batten from Amaze, you will find out how to apply for Disability Living Allowance (DLA), how the process works, the various rates, understanding how decisions are made, tips for making a strong claim and appealing a decision. This workshop will also be useful to parents/carers who are completing a renewal as it will provide you with up-to-date information. This will be an informative session including an opportunity to ask questions about your child and their needs.

After booking - Once you have booked a place you will receive an email confirmation from Eventbrite. Prior to the workshop, you will receive a Zoom link to access the session. You will need to download Zoom in advance, but you don’t need to set up an account if you don’t wish to. Zoom can be used on PCs/Laptops and mobile devices such as iPads, phones and tablets. If you have any questions, please get in touch and we will happily talk you through setting this up if required.
